This site exists to teach using free data security and recovery software. You do not need to buy expensive products to protect or restore your important files.

Where did Windows articles go?

help.artaro.eu had previously many tutorials on using and securing Microsoft Windows. These articles are now available at my other site, www.winhelp.us.

Is help.artaro.eu free to use?

Yes, you can read and print out and link to every piece of information here.
In case you happen to find any information on this site really useful, you can always donate via PayPal (use the Heart icon on the bottom bar). But this is voluntary action - free is free.

Why ads?

Advertisements are sometimes a complete nuisance, I know. But for me, they will provide some small income to cover my time spent on building and maintaining the site and writing/updating the guides. Believe me, it is not easy. I try to keep ads under control by not accepting any automatic pop-ups or other possibly disturbing content. So please click on an interesting link and support this site. Your clicks are voluntary, but very much needed...
